About Matas
As far as the qualifications are concerned, I can offer you my certificate of personal trainer by American council of exercise in San Diego, California. But what makes me even a better specialist that I was a physiotherapy student at Sports University where I gained extra knowledge about how is important to perform every exercise extremely safely, how to deal with traumas and disfunctions of the body. Due to these facts I can not only prepare athlete but also continue rehabilitation program safely. And in addition, I am also certified (live teaching) first aid provider which means that I am always ready to perform CPR/AED and help with all kind of injuries.
My expertise lies in the area of muscle, cardiorespiratory testing which I have learned in my university, so no errors here but there are still a lot to learn. Also, psychology lectures helped me to get information about every detail of character and personal life in a way with no discomfort. Putting these bonds together I am able not only to create the programme for body but also for a mind.
And simply the prove of that is me and my own story. I faced a disaster and broke my spine. My journey has started. While being in rehabilitation phase I realised that inadequate treatment exists in the hospitals despite the massive amounts of funding they receive each year; people don’t get the help that they need. For me, prognoses were depressing and heart-breaking- I was told that the only physical exercise I would be able to do was swimming. I became obsessed. I started analysing human anatomy, neuromuscular system, especially the structure of vertebral column, started looking analytically at rehabilitation programs and two years later, I broke all forecasts that doctors gave me by accomplishing 2nd place in Europe fitness amateur championship. Therefore, this proves my determination, optimism, purposefulness and the fact that I never quit. Also, I added a lot knowledge about nutrition. Moreover, I realised my full potential and how badly I want to make other people believe that everything is possible.
