About Jason
I’m a professional CAD designer and 3D artist with a background that combines digital design, engineering, fabrication, and real-world manufacturing. I earned my degree in 3D Art and Animation from Full Sail University and am currently continuing my education in Electrical Engineering.
My professional experience includes CAD design, 3D modeling, technical problem solving, metal fabrication, CNC and manufacturing workflows, and developing designs that ultimately have to work in the real world—not just look good on a screen. (Although we can do that too!)
I also have professional tutoring experience teaching Fusion 360 and Maya to students with a wide range of skill levels. I’m patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoy helping someone reach that point where a difficult concept finally makes sense.
My goal as a tutor isn’t to do the work for you. It’s to help you understand the tools and the thought process behind them well enough that eventually you don’t need me.

My approach to teaching CAD and 3D modeling is centered around learning by doing. I believe the best way to understand software like Fusion 360 and Maya is to work through real problems and projects while learning the tools needed to solve them.
Lessons are tailored to the student’s current skill level and goals. We can start from the fundamentals, work through a school assignment, troubleshoot an existing model, or develop a project from concept to completion. Rather than simply showing you which buttons to press, I focus on explaining why we are using a particular tool or technique so you can apply that knowledge independently later.
What sets my lessons apart is my professional background in CAD, 3D art, fabrication, and technical design. I have used these tools to solve real-world design and manufacturing problems, so I can help bridge the gap between learning software and actually using it to create something.
I welcome complete beginners, students, artists, makers, and professionals who want to improve their Fusion 360, Maya, CAD, or 3D modeling skills.
