About Mateus

I’m Mateus Almeida, a product designer and founder of Ørn Dynamics and Ørn 3D, with extensive experience in CAD, 3D modeling, product development, and additive manufacturing. My work goes beyond digital modeling — I design, prototype, and manufacture real mechanical solutions, from functional components to complex mechanisms for industry applications.

I’ve also worked as a robotics teacher for children, helping young students understand engineering concepts through hands-on projects. This combination of real-world product development and teaching experience allows me to work comfortably with both adults and kids, adapting the complexity and methodology to each student.

With strong expertise in Fusion 360 and practical engineering workflows, I focus on teaching not just which buttons to click, but how to think like a designer or engineer.

I teach CAD and 3D modeling in a structured, practical, and goal-oriented way. My lessons are suitable for teenagers, adults, professionals, and young learners who want to build strong technical skills.

For beginners, we build a solid foundation in modeling logic, parametric design, and real-world application. For intermediate and advanced students, I provide project-based guidance, design review, and technical feedback — whether you're developing a product, preparing for a deadline, improving your professional workflow, or bringing an idea to life.

Each lesson is tailored to your objective: academic projects, professional development, product design, 3D printing, or engineering challenges. My goal is to help you gain confidence, technical independence, and the ability to turn ideas into functional, manufacturable designs.

  • Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

I first used a computer when I was 10 years old. I was extremely curious and eager to learn, mainly because of how easy it was to access information. I started with games like Minecraft, which later evolved into an interest in robotics during my teenage years. That early familiarity helped me a lot with research and experimentation. At 16, while still in high school, I opened an Arduino robotics course for students from my school. That first experience full of discovery and creativity is what allows me today to guide and inspire others more efficiently.
  • What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

Working as a product designer and turning ideas into real objects showed me that almost anything is possible, as long as you are willing to break limitations through creativity and adaptability. Modern CAD tools, digital manufacturing, and rapid prototyping allow individuals to create complex solutions at a hobbyist or small-business level. The real turning point will be when technology becomes fully integrated with human creativity, allowing ideas to flow naturally from imagination to physical reality with fewer barriers.
  • Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

CAD and 3D design go far beyond creating a model on a screen. They are tools to transform ideas into reality while predicting results before manufacturing. CAD allows simulation, precision, and problem-solving without wasting material or time. Unlike traditional processes where mistakes are costly, digital design provides feedback in advance. Mastering this skill allows me to work more efficiently, accurately, and strategically in product development.
  • Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

When things go wrong or I feel lost, two figures come to my mind: my father and Jesus Christ. They represent guidance, discipline, and peace. Their words and examples help me stay grounded and focused on learning, improving, and acting with purpose.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

One meaningful experience was teaching Arduino robotics to classmates while I was still in high school. Explaining complex concepts to people my own age forced me to truly understand what I was teaching. That moment showed me that learning becomes stronger when you share knowledge, and it played a big role in shaping my path as an instructor.
  • What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

Most people fear technology because it feels unfamiliar, and they are afraid of making mistakes. I usually explain that nothing breaks easily and that learning is a step-by-step process. By simplifying concepts and showing clear limits, I help people feel comfortable and confident, changing their perspective from fear to curiosity.
  • What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

I have a strong appreciation for outdoor activities like camping and spending time in nature. It helps me disconnect, recharge my energy, and expand my creativity, which directly improves my work as a designer.
  • What makes you a Superprof in IT?

I combine real-world product design experience with practical teaching methods. My lessons focus on functional design, problem-solving, and turning ideas into manufacturable products. I adapt to each student’s pace and goals, making complex tools like Fusion 360 accessible, practical, and directly applicable to real projects.
