About Abdullah
My name is Abo, and I'm an engineer who genuinely loves teaching. My path into this field wasn't a straight line, and that's exactly why I care about making technical subjects feel approachable rather than intimidating. I've seen first-hand that with the right guidance, anyone can learn to think like a programmer or a mathematician.
I'm currently completing my MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of St Andrews, after earning my degree in Software Engineering. My academic work focuses on the cutting edge of AI, including research on large language models, so I bring current, real-world knowledge into every lesson rather than just textbook theory.
Teaching has been part of my work for years. At the American University of Central Asia (AUCA), I taught as a guest lecturer on a course exploring artificial intelligence and its role in society. Alongside that, I've built learning platforms and AI tutoring tools used by over a thousand students, so I understand not only the subjects I teach, but how people actually learn them.
I specialise in Maths, Python and software development, and Machine Learning and AI, at A-Level, Higher, and university level. Whether you're chasing a top grade, writing your first lines of code, or working through a university project, my sessions are clear, patient, and rigorous. Every student begins with a free intro chat so we can set goals and make sure I'm the right fit.

My lessons start from wherever you're stuck. Rather than rushing through theory, I build intuition with real, worked examples, then hand the problem back to you so you can solve the next one yourself. I teach by doing: we write code, work through problems, and talk through the why until it clicks, not just the how.
I specialise in Maths, Python and software development, and Machine Learning and AI, at A-Level, Higher, and university level. That includes A-Level and Higher Maths, programming in Python, JavaScript, and Java, data structures and algorithms, databases, statistics, and the foundations of machine learning and data science. I also help university students with coding projects, dissertations, and technical interview preparation, and I'm glad to work with anyone serious about learning to code properly from the ground up.
Lessons are usually one hour, which suits most learners, though I'm happy to run 90-minute sessions for exam revision or heavier project and coding work. I always begin with a free intro chat so we can set goals and make sure I'm the right fit.
