About Ammar

I am a PhD Engineer, university professor, researcher, and multidisciplinary technology educator with more than 25 years of experience in programming, information systems, artificial intelligence, data analysis, databases, engineering, and professional software applications.

I have taught and supported beginners, school and university students, graduate researchers, engineers, analysts, professionals, and career-transition learners. My experience ranges from introducing fundamental programming concepts to supervising complex technical projects, database applications, analytical systems, automation, and intelligent software solutions.

My teaching philosophy is based on a clear principle: programming should develop structured thinking—not merely produce code that happens to run.

I explain how to analyze a problem, design an algorithm, select suitable data structures, organize code into clear functions and classes, identify errors systematically, and verify that the solution works under different conditions. When a concept is difficult, I connect diagrams, pseudocode, code execution, variable states, outputs, and practical examples.

My expertise includes:

• Python, C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, VB.NET, and JavaScript
• Variables, conditions, loops, functions, recursion, files, modules, and exception handling
• Object-oriented programming, classes, inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces, and composition
• Algorithms, data structures, complexity foundations, and computational problem-solving
• Desktop, console, web, automation, data-processing, and database applications
• SQL, MySQL, Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
• NumPy, pandas, Matplotlib, Tkinter, APIs, JSON, and application integration
• Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Jupyter Notebook, Anaconda, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, Git, and GitHub
• Debugging, testing, refactoring, documentation, software design, and technical-interview preparation

Lessons are personalized to your level, programming language, course, project, and objectives. I can help you learn systematically from the beginning, understand a difficult concept, debug an existing program, complete an assignment, prepare for an examination or interview, or develop a complete software project.

My goal is to help you become a more logical, accurate, confident, and independent programmer. You should leave each lesson understanding not only what code to write, but also why the solution is structured that way and how to improve it.

B- PERSONALIZED TUTORING: LEARN TO THINK
-------------------------------------------------------
Programming becomes much easier when computational thinking, algorithms, code structure, debugging, and real applications are connected clearly.

My lessons help you move beyond copying code or memorizing syntax. You will learn how to understand a problem, divide it into manageable steps, design an appropriate algorithm, write clear code, identify errors systematically, test the result, and improve the solution.

Each lesson is personalized to your current level, programming language, academic course, assignment, examination, interview, or professional project. We begin by identifying your existing knowledge, software environment, expected output, and main conceptual or technical difficulties. We then establish a structured and practical learning plan.

The first free lesson combines a discussion of your background, objectives and tutoring needs, an initial assessment of your current knowledge, personalized planning and scheduling, and a short trial lesson so that we can determine the most effective way to work together.

A typical lesson may include conceptual explanation, algorithm design, live coding, guided implementation, debugging, testing, and a concise summary of the next steps.

You may bring your own assignment, source code, error message, project requirements, textbook, or examination material. I can also provide structured exercises and projects adapted to your level.

My objective is not merely to make one program run. It is to help you understand how the solution was designed, why the code works, how to diagnose failures, and how to apply the same reasoning to future programming problems.

Details

The first free lesson is a structured introductory and trial session. We will briefly introduce ourselves—including your academic or professional background and my relevant expertise—clarify your objectives, deadlines and tutoring needs, and assess your current knowledge through discussion and a short diagnostic activity. We will then establish a focused learning plan and schedule for future lessons. The remaining time will be used for a short trial lesson on a representative concept or problem, allowing you to experience my teaching approach before deciding whether to continue.
