About Pooja
I am an adaptable and approachable tutor specialising in Mathematics, English Literature and Language, and Computer Science at GCSE, as well as Computer Science at A-level. Currently in my first year of studying Computer Science at university, I bring a strong academic background, having achieved grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics, Computer Science, and English Language, along with a B in A-level Computer Science. My experience includes assisting in a Year 10 maths class during Year 12, working in a nursery, and regularly helping my younger brother with his studies, which has further refined my ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively. I strive to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I believe in tailoring lessons to suit each individual’s learning style and involving them in the planning process to focus on the areas they need most help with. My goal is not only to help students understand the material but also to build their confidence in the subject. I take pride in my listening skills, strong communication abilities, and willingness to adapt to different needs, ensuring that every session is both informative and engaging. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy scrolling through TikTok and watching TV shows or movies, which helps me stay relatable and connect with my students on a personal level.
