About Bara

Experienced Computer Science Teacher, Tutor & Author. I have a first-class Computer Science Degree and a Postgraduate Certificate in Computer Science Education. I currently teach Computer Science in one of the best schools in Walsall, I have experience teaching GCSE & IGCSE Computer Science and A level both one to one and in schools. I am an author of GCSE Computer Science and IGCSE Computer Science resources and my resources are currently being used in over a 1000 schools internationally. I have many years of experience in tutoring and teaching in schools and 1 to 1. I have a proven track record of outstanding results both in school and 1 to 1. I offer a premium service where you can be assured that the student will make outstanding progress in a very short time. I have a lot of experience in teaching, tutoring and creating resources for OCR/AQA GCSE Computer Science & IGCSE Computer Science (CIE) and A Level Computer Science. I can explain difficult concepts in different ways to help students understand and remember these concepts far better. I am well resourced and can provide the student with instructions and resources that will help them improve and understand the subject in an easy to understand way. I am experienced in coding in Python and will be able to provide the student with instructions, challenges and guidance on how to improve Computational thinking and programming skills. Every student is different and I am always willing to tailor my teaching techniques to match each individual needs. I have created many interactive resources and self-marked challenges with help sheets that students can attempt between my lessons which had great benefits to all my students over the past years and allowed us to focus on the more challenging topics during our sessions. Due to the high demand, I am currently only taking KS3 / GCSE & IGCSE students. Price for group lessons (2 = £30 each, 3 = £25 each) ONLINE RATE: £60 for 1 to 1. Not available for face to face.

About the lesson

I am mainly free on Saturday and Sunday all day and in the evening on weekdays, I am a full-time Computer Science teacher so I can’t teach between 8am-5pm. Flexible during the holidays including half term.

Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?
The first time I used a Computer was at the age of 6. At this age, I used the Computer to play games by downloading them using CDS. I was fascinated by it and spent a lot of time on the Computer which then led to learning HTML and coding using books which ignited my passion for coding.
What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?
AI has made massive evolution in the industry. Teaching robotics is a big part of my career and I love using different robotics including Lego robots and drones.
Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.
I am experienced in Python, Computer Science and robotics. I had an interest in coding at a very young age and I developed my passion for teaching coding which will lead to outstanding future programmers.
Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?
They do inspire me as they changed the technology world for the good. They have made technology easy to use and resourceful.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
My lessons are fast-paced and students learn a lot of content in a very short shine. I have created 100s of quizzes which students love and it becomes competitive in my class when I use them.
What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?
With the use of computational thinking techniques like algorithms. You can learn many things on a Computer in a short time. You may be different to other people, however in the end anyone can use Computers as long as they put the effort in.
What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?
Creating websites, professional gaming, coding games and robotics.
What makes you a Superprof in IT?
Over 20 years of using Computers, building Computers and building resources such as PowerPoints, spreadsheets and word documents tasks to over 500 schools internationally.
