About Ved
Hi! I'm Ved, an experienced Computer Science student well-versed in Java concepts. From Hackathons to UIL events to challenges like USACO, I've garnered a lot of experience with coding, particularly in Java. I've received a Java IT certification to prove my proficiency in the language. And, as it's most related to the course, I scored a 5 on the AP Computer Science A exam. I am also well qualified as a mentor. As someone who knows what it's like to receive good and bad mentorship, I'm well aware of what teachers can do to make their lessons more enjoyable and ensure that their students retain the information longer. Because of my teaching experience in the past, both in and out of school, I can guarantee that I can find a teaching strategy that works for you. If you're interested in becoming a Java coder, but don't know where to start, I would love to lend my experience and knowledge to you, and together, we can fully realize your potential as the incredible coder I know you are!

I provide interactive lessons for Java beginners focused on improving YOUR understanding of the AP Computer Science A course! I make all topics I teach memorable through fun analogies or engaging games.
In a lesson, you can expect a review of last time's lesson if applicable, a brief overview of what we'll cover today, a mini-example, and an interactive try-it-yourself. From there, we'll use our new programming skills in fun ways, like making games or back-and-forth activities! Worried that this isn't the right approach for you? That's perfectly fine—together, we can brainstorm a strategy specifically tailored to you that will allow you to reach your full potential.
As a tutor, I strive for all of my students to leave a lesson not only understanding the topic, but also enjoying it. The moment a student learns a concept is the most important, because it will affect how they approach that concept for the rest of their life. It is my goal to make that moment as memorable and enjoyable as possible for you. Coding doesn't always have to be boring slideshow lessons!

Ved is a very smart and professional person who always ensures the success of the person he is helping. In addition, he always gives his best and when he encounters hurdles, he makes smart and efficient decisions to overcome the challenges.
Ved is an excellent teacher! Even if you are newcomer to code (like me!), he takes the extra mile to explain these computer science concepts. I highly recommend him!
I am Ved's father amd also a computer engineer myself. I have observed his growth as a budding computer scientist in close quarters. From CS projects, papers, hackathons, UIL competitions, and CS related clubs Ved has been honing his skills with various immersive techniques. And now, he is looking to give back.
One of the qualities of being a good teacher is being a good student and Ved personifies that. He is diligent, systematic, and gets deep into the subject. He is patient and sympathizes with the needs of the student. I recommend Ved as your trusted partner in grasping computer languages and related concepts.View more recommendations
