I believe practical hands-on implementation of programming subjects are vital. My teaching approach would be covering one topic per class followed by hands-on session in the next class based on the interest of the student. As it provides time for the student also to absorb the topic taught. There will be equal number of taught classes and practice sessions for any subject I offer to teach.
