About Gina
I am a twenty-year-old trilingual student, currently undergoing my BA in Liberal Arts at King's College London, majoring in Classics and minoring in Film.
Having been born and brought up by a British mother in the Spanish Pyrenees, Catalan, Spanish and English are my first languages. Until 18 years of age, Spanish and Catalan were the languages of my academic life. Living an hour away from the French Pyrenees spurred me to study French, for which I undertook the B2-DELF examination.
Growing up as the only English girl in a small Catalan town meant that I have been the go-to option for parents wanting their children to learn English from an early age. I have nannied in French as well as English.
At the age of 16 I was approached by my previous primary school to hold classes for a small group of more advanced, 11 year-old English students. This meant I sharpened my tutoring skills within a more formal, academic environment.
I have held informal classes with adults wanting to perfect their conversational English skills, allowing me to gage the needs of a mature student and to prepare accordingly.
The skills I have learnt from teaching English to people of all ages have also proved useful when tutoring native Catalan and Spanish primary school children.

I have known Gina for 2 years in my capacity as her Personal Tutor at King's College London. In my experience Gina is a friendly, respectful and responsible student who takes her studies seriously. She has achieved highly in her degree to date and I am confident she will continue this trajectory. The Liberal Arts degree is a challenging one, requiring students to engage with multiple subjects in depth simultaneously. She is majoring in Classics but has expertise in a range of other subjects.
