Jazz student at Royal Welsh College teaches trombone or trumpet in or around Cardiff.

Nathaniel's been a close friend of mine for a good while. He is a bright, brilliant and curious personality for as long as I've known him. Musically speaking, he has been an essential influence on me, I wouldn't have discovered the beauty of Jazz without the artists he looks up to the most, names such as Shaun Martin or Jesus Molina in particular. He has always helped me effectively when I've been stuck learning my instruments, always broken down things in ways which a version of me before I even knew what music was could understand.

An excellent teacher and one that inspires in both his ability and through his encouragement.

Every other music teacher I've dealt with struggles to find the balance between promoting creativity and nurturing technical understanding, but Nathaniel is a natural at it

I met Nathaniel in the first year of college and initially jammed with him for fun in any free time we had available in both of our timetables, including but not limited to lunchtimes and break times. Throughout these jam sessions, I really came to learn a thing or two from Nathaniel, not just in jamming/improv but confidence in scales, harmonics and basic chord theory. His personality is unique and enjoyable to be around which makes learning from him feel more friendly and progressive rather than strict and frustrating. I’d seriously recommend learning with/from Nathaniel if you’re looking to improve quickly from someone who truly cares about helping you improve and not just selling out. 5/5
