About Fatima

Hello everyone, My name is Fatima. I’m a resident of South Carolina, but have spent the last three years living and working in Japan. I’m eager to share my experience and knowledge of the Japanese language and culture with new students. I enjoy drawing and watching anime. My favorite Japanese food is karaage teishoku and salmon sushi. Please ask me about my experience in the JET program, especially if you want to become an English teacher in Japan.

About the lesson

Each beginning lesson starts with an assessment of current knowledge and skill level in the target language. We will work on setting individual goals based on the student's needs and personal interests. Next, we will develop a course of study where the student can determine how many lessons and how long to study for each lesson. Finally, I will use this information to develop activities, resources, and materials to share with students during our course of study.
