About Amanda
My name is Amanda, I'm a Canadian who's been living in London for the last decade. I'm a Food Tech teacher in a public all girls school at the moment but I love teaching people to cook. Whether it's the basics or the more advanced things (like making pasta from scratch), I am enthusiastic about giving you the ability to create amazing and delicious dishes. Everyone should be able to cook for themselves - and not just beans on toast!

I've been a fully qualified teacher in public schools for ten years teaching food to all ages. This includes the practical cooking as well as the nutritional and scientific side of food. Lessons can range from 1 hour to 3 depending on what you would like to learn. I can teach you:
Basic cooking, hygiene & safety skills
Cooking on a budget
Family focused meals
Advanced cookery including presentation
Please note, the advanced cookery involves high ability knife skills and no premade ingredients (ie sauces, pasta etc.)
