About Ellie
Hiya!
I am Ellie, a first year Philosophy and Mathematics student at the University of Edinburgh with the hope of becoming a secondary school level teacher once I have completed my degree. I acheived an A* at Philosophy A-level.
I enjoy teaching and watching others learn, and I have praticed my ability to teach in multiple ways, including both in dance and in reading.

I have always been passionate about helping to inspire the next generation through learning and enjoy helping students to solve problems and work through that which they struggle with. Rather than just remembering methods, I aim to help build an understanding so that these principles can be applied to multiple subjects and implemented throughout their education.
I have always been keen to offer my help to my peers and have volunteered at a primary school where I helped the reception pupils in their reading. My lessons as a tutor will focus on improving areas which are not so strong, mainly via going through practice questions after the method is learnt.
