Extremely helpful.I think Guy is a brilliant teacher. He makes things really clear and always makes things interesting.
Guy is an excellent tutor with an impeccable understanding of politics, philosophy, and the broader humanities at the post-graduate level. Moreover, he is extremely helpful in reviewing written work, and will give you advice not only on grammar/structure, but also ensure you are addressing the core of the debate behind the research question. Lessons have a friendly, socratic feel and Guy is always available to answer questions through e-mail. If you are struggling/wanting to improve in the humanities, I would highly recommend booking a session with Guy!
Guy fundamentally shaped my career through his insight into politics and culture. I currently lead innovation strategies for major cultural institutions, and I find myself constantly referring back to the things we discussed during our conversations.
Guy listens carefully for gaps in knowledge and has an incredible ability to offer a different perspective on situations. And most importantly, Guy has a friendliness that makes every philosophical conversation feel like an informal chat at a bar.
I strongly recommend Guy as a tutor to anyone who intends to take the act of thinking seriously.View more recommendations
