About Joe
Although I didn't take philosophy at A-Level myself, I discovered the subject in my own time during lockdown and decided I wanted to study it at university. I am very well-qualified to tutor philosophy, having graduated with a first-class philosophy degree from the University of Cambridge. Currently, I am studying the Philosophy BPhil at the University of Oxford as a St Anne's Ethics Scholar, specialising in moral and political philosophy. As much as I have enjoyed studying philosophy myself, I love talking about it even more! I also have lots of experience communicating complex philosophical ideas as clearly and simply as possible, having been president of my college's philosophy society at university, where I led discussion groups of fellow students who didn't study the subject themselves.
