About Arlen

I have 2 year experience of teaching chess for diverse age group
Achievement-wise, I am no worse than many on this website. Won Youth different championships in my city as well as had experience of being coached by FMs, IMs and GMs. During my youth, travelled a lot and played nationally and internationally. Now, I am graduating from university majoring in linguistics and languages that’s why I believe there will be no problems in communicating in English
I can promise you that after studying with me you will not have problems with opening phase of a game as I have put countless of hours to be not out prepared by fellow chess players
Also, I promise you good grasp of middlegame concepts as my journey in chess started with studying classics of USSR championships

About the lesson

We will focus on your games and try to find what stops you from becoming better as a player.
First thing first, there will be one rule is to enjoy playing chess
We will have tactics based homework mostly while positional concepts are going to be played out during lesson. Weekly or bi-weekly analysis of your games.
