About Bernaditha

Hi! I'm Bernaditha, an American-Indonesian who has lived in Indonesia my whole life. Growing up here has given me a personal connection to the language and culture, and I'd love to share that with you!

I have a bachelor's degree in International Relations, and I'm interested in languages, cultural exchange, and how people connect across different backgrounds.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and practical. We'll focus on everyday Indonesian, useful expressions, and natural conversations you can actually use in real life. I can also share cultural insights to help you understand not just what to say, but when and how to say it.

Whether you're planning a trip to Indonesia, have Indonesian friends or family, or are simply curious about the language, you're welcome here! No experience needed. We'll take it one step at a time and learn at your own pace.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for beginners who want to learn Bahasa Indonesia in a friendly and practical way. As a native Indonesian speaker, I can help you understand everyday vocabulary, pronunciation, useful expressions, and simple sentence structures.

Each lesson can include a short review, new vocabulary, guided practice, and conversational exercises based on real-life situations, such as introducing yourself, ordering food, shopping, or traveling in Indonesia. I also enjoy sharing cultural insights to help you understand how Indonesians communicate in daily life.

My goal is to help you feel comfortable using Indonesian at your own pace. Whether you are learning for travel, personal interest, or connecting with Indonesian friends and family, lessons can be adapted to your goals and beginner level.
