About Rachel
I am an undergraduate student at McMaster University studying sciences and humanities with a 3.9 GPA. Additionally, throughout high school, I received academic awards, so I am well versed in high school science. I have great experience tutoring high school students and can provide references upon request. I have helped multiple students (including those with learning disabilities) go from receiving C's to A's in only a week. I am incredibly passionate about tutoring and want to help your child achieve academic success!

I alter my sessions to your/your child's learning style (I try to gauge your learning style with each new session). In terms of novel studies, I work with the student on understanding the themes, moods, literary devices, etc., of the book. For editing and essay writing, I encourage the student to better their writing and editing skills rather than edit for them to ensure that they are building long-term English skills.
