About Avner
Learning is my most important value. I am a lifelong learner and want to spread this value. When I was in high school, there was a time where I was really struggling and with the help of a tutor, it really gave me the confidence and skills to achieve. I was lucky to receive this opportunity, I want to give young people the skills and knowledge that enables them to achieve their potential. I study Zoology with Spanish at the University of Manchester and in my free time I like to go running and love to dance Tango.

Are you a Biology student? Great news! You can gain confidence both inside and outside of the classroom. Because tutoring allows a comfortable and customised learning environment. I am a Qualified Tutor and have been helping people with Biology for 3 years to achieve their desired grade. Frequently asked questions: What makes you different from other tutors? To help maximise my student's learning I have created the FFP method: Find - locate the areas that by improving them will give maximum results Focus - focus on these areas Practise - Practising these areas is how you will improve and get better results My timetable is generally quite flexible during the week. As I'm a university student with most of my lectures online. I am happy to work any weekday or week evening. Do you offer a discount on block booking? Yes, I offer a discount on block booking. When are you available? What ages do you teach? I teach students from Year 7 -Year 13. What are your arrangements for teaching online? I use Zoom and share a Google Drive folder so you can practise whenever you want.

Avner is a passionate tutor with a clear love for maths and learning in general, which is clear in how he teaches. He is patient and spends time in ensuring a good understanding before moving onto the next topic. Would recommend!
I'm also a Maths tutor and whenever I see Avner tutor, the teaching has always been of the highest quality. He takes the time to really understand where the student is struggling and help them in this area, whether it be fractions or algebra.
Avner is a very helpful tutor. He encourages me to challenge myself and is always really supportive no matter if I know how to do the question or not. I felt his sessions were very tailored to my needs and my grades definitely went up because of this.
