About Eli
Hi, I’m Eli (Ryan Elijah!) A Métis artist and musician living on Treaty One territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My journey with music and the arts began with a deep admiration for Gord Downie and The Tragically Hip. Their music inspired me to not only play guitar but also to immerse myself in the broader world of art and creativity. I’ve had the privilege of working with Live Nation Entertainment for 10 years, where I was surrounded by some of the biggest acts in the industry. This experience has given me a unique perspective on music, performance, and the energy that live shows create. It's also helped shape my approach to teaching — combining technical skill with a passion for performance and creativity. With 15 years of guitar experience under my belt, I take a coaching approach to teaching. My goal is to make sure you feel encouraged, motivated, and excited to grow as a musician. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your guitar skills to the next level, I'm here to help guide you through every step of the journey.
