About Carlos
I started writing computer programs on my 11th birthday, now I'm grown up and nothing's changed! I've earned my Associate's in Cybersecurity from Pikes Peak State College. From simple hobby projects to complex medical systems, I've designed and implemented projects of various sizes to completion.
I've worked in fast-paced companies and casual hobby projects with friends. I tutor a wide variety of things related to computer science, English, science, mathematics, and study habits. I help guide students from novice to mastery in their preferred learning style, explaining complex topics in ways specifically tailored for each.
I do very well with students who have broad requirements but specific obstacles. From special needs to odd availability patterns, I'm a good fit for students who may not fit well in a general tutoring environment.
I'm interested in software development, mental health support, and psychology. I love taking the ordinary assignments given by schools, and making them enjoyable for students! I also like to make the boring parts of life a little more fun.

I teach students using hands-on projects. If you have a game you want to make, we will go through the process step by step to completion. If you want to work on a certification, we will practice each part in a way that gives you actual experience with the subject. We can build a computer from scratch, set up your machine just for you, or even collaborate with other students!
