"Vibrato control, pitch control, and sight singing are the core technical foundations I emphasise for you as a vocalist. After earning my Bachelor of Music in Voice from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, I spent 9 years performing with the Hallé Orchestra and other prominent UK ensembles.
This professional life informed the teaching practice I built over 6 years to focus on classical technique and choral repertoire. I work with hobbyists, intermediate learners, and those preparing for ABRSM grade exams.
You will find my approach is calm, precise, and theatre-fluent. I assist with harmony singing, head and chest voice, and genre styling across pop and musical theatre. Microphone technique and performance confidence are also central to my methodology. I find that consistent technical application leads to better results, so I keep things quite grounded."
