About Brian
Watching a student solve a word problem they previously found impossible drives my teaching practice. I have taught 300 students over 10 years to bridge the gap between confusion and clarity.
My background as a PhD candidate in Mathematics at MIT provides the foundation for my instruction. I specialize in algebra, trigonometry, statistics, and probability for students ranging from kids to professionals. My 10 years of experience allow me to identify exactly why a student struggles with basic mensuration or exam prep. I genuinely enjoy helping people gain confidence in their math skills.

How do we ensure that you start in the right place? A free trial class allows us to identify weak areas before we spend any time on new material. I then customize every session to fit the specific needs of absolute beginners or students preparing for the SAT and ACT. We might spend one hour on geometry or break down complex probability formulas into simple steps.
My method is to build a solid framework so you can solve problems independently. This way, you stay ahead of your school curriculum or exam deadlines.
