About Jessica
Algebra is far simpler when you stop trying to memorize formulas and start looking at the logic holding the numbers together. You might find it surprising that the most complex engineering problems are often solved using the most basic algebraic foundations. My sessions lean heavily into my training from the University of Sydney to ensure you see the internal architecture of every problem. I prioritize clarity for Year 12 students who need to bridge the gap between classroom theory and the rigors of university level math.
We will work through your specific curriculum requirements while discussing why these mathematical structures behave the way they do. I look forward to tackling these tough problems alongside you.

The chalk dust on my sleeves usually tells the story of an afternoon spent mapping out complex group theory on a whiteboard. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Advanced Mathematics at the University of Sydney and completed my MTeach to refine how I communicate these intricate concepts.
During my 8 years of experience, I have focused on the mechanics of algebra that often puzzle those heading toward engineering or actuarial careers. Working with students who are the first in their family to pursue these technical fields is a privilege that keeps my perspective grounded. Mathematics is rarely just about solving for x, as it is about identifying the hidden symmetries that define the entire structure of a system. Analyzing polynomial equations and matrix transformations is genuinely enjoyable for me, and I find great satisfaction in seeing others grasp these same elegant patterns.
