About Sheila
I have a degree in Psychology from Middlesex London University (UK). I have obtained the certificate of Yoga instructor and completed 200 hours of training in Bali. I am studying a postgraduate degree in Positive Psychology, Mindfulness and Emotional Management. I teach yoga and meditation classes (in Spanish or English). Also English reinforcement classes.

I start each class with breathing exercises. Proposing the student to observe their breathing (without modifying anything). Breathing is a simple way to connect with Physical, mental and emotional sensations. I plan each class with a certain goal in mind (improve body alignment, improve respiratory system, increase flexibility and strength, focus the mind , channel energies, become aware of oneself and reconnect with being). Depending on the objective of each class and depending on the needs of the student and their level, I use a more relaxed and slow pace or more intense and dynamic. I use a pedagogical approach with key instructions to teach the fundamentals of Asanas, a spiritual approach with a more introspective perspective bringing attention to the breath so that it connects with its essence or an aerobic and vigorous approach to achieve an intense and cleansing class. I finish the classes by guiding the student to adopt a relaxation posture that facilitates meditation.
