My Approach as a Teacher:
With over 14 years of experience in Bollywood, Classical, and Ghazal singing, I believe in a personalized and holistic approach to teaching. My lessons are structured around the needs of each student, ensuring a balance between technical mastery and emotional expression. I integrate classical techniques such as voice modulation, breath control, and pitch accuracy, while also exploring contemporary styles to keep the learning experience versatile and engaging.
Teaching Techniques and Methods:
I use a combination of traditional Indian music theory (ragas and talas) and modern vocal practices. Every class begins with vocal exercises to strengthen the voice and improve control, followed by practical sessions where students learn songs tailored to their skill level. My focus is not just on learning notes but also on understanding the emotion behind each song, whether it's a Bollywood hit or a classical piece.
Structure of a Class:
Each session is typically divided into:
Warm-up & Voice Training (10-15 minutes): Essential exercises to improve vocal range and stamina.
Song Practice (25-30 minutes): Working on the nuances of the chosen song (Bollywood, Classical, or Ghazals).
Feedback & Guidance (10-15 minutes): Personalized suggestions to refine performance and vocal expression.

As a disciple of renowned maestros Sunita Jhingran (Thumri Queen) and Majid Khan Sahab (Ghazal Maestro), I bring a blend of traditional learning and modern performance techniques. My own journey as a government-verified artist and youngest performer at Raam Mandir, Ayodhya, allows me to offer real-world insights and stage performance tips.
