About Paige
Usually, we begin by identifying your current strengths and gaps through a quick diagnostic skills check. You might wonder if I can help you bridge the gap between simple chords and complex melodic improvisation.
I apply my BMus degree and 5 years of experience to design a roadmap specifically for your level. We will explore everything from scales and modes to nuanced rhythm techniques that define a professional sound.
Sometimes we spend an entire session breaking down a single rhythm pattern to ensure your strumming is perfectly consistent. It is quite rewarding to see the transition when a song finally clicks for you. I try to make the theory feel like a tool rather than a chore. Feel free to bring your guitar and we can get to work.

Precision guides my teaching style as I help advanced learners and hobbyists navigate the fretboard with intent. You will find that 392 students have worked with me to refine their lead guitar and rhythm guitar skills over the years. My 5 years of experience performing classical and folk music across Canada inform how I explain music theory and complex modes.
Whether you are returning to the instrument or looking to master intricate strumming patterns, I provide the structure you need. I hold a BMus from the UBC School of Music, which ensures my technical knowledge is grounded in deep study.
We will navigate reading tabs, songwriting, and ear training with a focus on your personal goals. I find great satisfaction in watching players develop their own unique voice through these sessions. It feels right to keep the process moving forward at your pace.
