I have had 12 hours of lessons with Yousif. I feel I was very lucky finding him. I am learning so fast. His teaching style makes sense to me and he explains everything in a way that logically makes sense. He seems to have adapted to my learning style quickly.
I wish I could explain how much I've learned without it sounding like an exaggeration. My husband is Egyptian and I am learning so much that my husband has been forgetting sometimes to speak to me in English.
He has never cancelled a lesson and works around my weird work schedule. I highly highly recommend him.

I really enjoyed Yousifs teaching style. I'm a teacher too and I must say I'm quite impressed by how well he balances his attention to group dynamics as well as to the individual person, how he competently guides you to the next step at the right time (!), how he transmits that feeling of "hey I have enough knowledge to move/build on, I can do that", how he personally enjoys your achievements and encourages you, also how he makes you even more curious about what you are learning. In other words if you are learning with Yousif you really should make the most out of this time. Pay attention, do your homework and enjoy it because you won't find this kind of teacher often.

I think to learn Arabic it's not possible for me, before I met Yousif. I didn't have a lot of times, but in 5 lessons I improve my 0% Arabic till understanding of the basics rules, and learn more than 10 sentences. He is amazing!

This guy is so good. So good. Gentle, talented, patient, kind, loves his work and his students, and speaks perfect English so it is very easy for English learners to understand him. He was with us for only three days and I learnt more than Duo-lingo taught me in a month. If you are thinking about learning Arabic, you’ve got to go with this guy.

Before I met Yousef I was struggling speaking any Arabic, something that I alway found a bit embarrassing considering that my family is originally from Egypt. I’ve now had Yousef as my Arabic tutor for over two years now, and the advancement in my Arabic proficiency is night and day compared to where it was prior. While Yousef teaches with well-established standard books, he developed a very creative way of explaining certain grammar topics (e.g. the participle). This makes the hard parts of learning a bit more easy and funny. He has traveled a lot around the world himself. But he loves his home country Egypt. Learning with him therefore means not only getting to know, but getting to like Egypt and its culture more and more. He has an open, creative and helpful personality. This is why I invented the word "Yousefity" to describe some of the cool things he does. And he has helped a lot of foreigners getting along in Egypt. He knows what foreigners struggle with in Egypt, and his advice in cultural and related matters is invaluable.

Yousif has helped me so much in learning Arabic. His style of teaching is stimulating and entertaining so it’s not hard to find motivation to learn the language. He teaches out of a textbook, out of a clip from YouTube or social media, even out of articles he finds about Egypt. He is often able to teach me something about the language and the culture.
Another plus to working with Yousif is that he is very patient with me even when I forget words and verb forms that I am supposed to know. Patience is a trait that you really need in a tutor, especially in an Arabic tutor. I highly recommend Yousif!
