About Esmeralda
Teaching music production feels most effective when focusing on real projects rather than dry theory. My BS in Music Industry from USC Thornton School of Music informs how I view the technical side of audio. I have spent 5 years refining a calm, detail-oriented approach to instruction.
My method focuses on the practical mechanics of sound. Students work through EQ and compression, exporting and release prep, and recording and tracking.
We also cover stem and session prep, mixing fundamentals, and the nuances of mixing vocals. I prioritize clarity in every technical explanation provided during our time together.
My goal is for you to develop a reliable workflow that produces consistent results. I am here to support you in finalizing the tracks you are building today. You will receive specific feedback on your own tracks every week to ensure progress.
