About Hannah
I have a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Health and Physical Education (K-12 Certificate). I currently coach Varsity Soccer for High School Girls and JV Tennis for High School Girls as well. I currently teach grades 9-12 CTE Family Health but also have experience teaching Middle School PE and health as well as teaching a course in reading to middle schoolers. I have plenty of experience working for/with students through not only my educator positions but also through being the Youth and Family Director for Hope Church. I understand goals and also the struggles that students face every day and try to incorporate strategies for coping with stress throughout my lessons regardless of subjects. When students can get a control on their stress, they can manage their school plans more smoothly.

- Hands-on teaching methods. Let's work through problems together! - I like to review and list the assignment expectations to start our meeting, discuss how we should tackle it, map out a written plan, and designate deadlines for ourselves of how and when we want things accomplished by. - Although I personally teach health and fitness, I have experience tutoring high school-aged students to meet graduation requirements of any sort in a time crunch. I helped a student who was not on track to graduate due to failing significant classes his senior year, finish his high school plan ON TIME with just four months of working together. He started with over 100 missing assignments and we went through and selected those that were worth the most points and prioritized them as necessary to bump his grades up.
