About Lysa
I am a passionate violin tutor with 12 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Music. Throughout my career, I have guided students from diverse backgrounds, helping them strengthen their technique, develop expressive playing, and achieve their musical ambitions through patient instruction and individualized lesson planning that supports consistent improvement.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes precision, creativity, and enjoyment in equal measure. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to suit individual strengths, challenges, and aspirations. By creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere, I help learners build confidence, maintain motivation, and develop lasting musical skills that extend well beyond the classroom.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy performing classical and contemporary violin repertoire, attending concerts, composing original melodies, and exploring different musical traditions from around the world. These experiences continually inspire my teaching, allowing me to bring fresh ideas, practical performance insights, and creative techniques into every lesson for an engaging and rewarding learning experience.
