About Jared
I play guitar at my church on a weekly basis and I was in a hard rock band for 5 years. I learned how to play from the music director at my church and after reaching an intermediate level of skill I branched out on my own to learn new techniques and skills.
I have tried to learn organically by meeting other guitarists and watching educational videos. This has given me a diverse set of skills and what I think makes me a great teacher for young guitarist's just getting started.

My teaching method is very relaxed, I teach guitar basics which keeps students free to learn the songs they love in any genre. You will learn how to play chords and basic scales. But you will also learn how chords are made, how to read chord charts and different forms of chords. This allows students to develop skills used in all music.
