About Ivy
I am a dedicated Chemistry tutor with 12 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Chemistry. Over the years, I have successfully guided students in achieving strong academic results in school examinations, university coursework, and competitive entrance exams.
My teaching approach is structured, patient, and concept-driven. I believe in simplifying difficult topics and building strong fundamentals first, ensuring students gain long-term understanding and confidence in Chemistry rather than short-term memorization.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring advancements in chemical research, studying new materials and industrial processes, and staying updated with developments in green chemistry and sustainable technologies. These interests allow me to connect theory with real-world applications, making Chemistry more engaging, meaningful, and practical for students.

My Chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand chemical concepts in a clear, structured, and practical way. I teach learners of all levels, from beginners learning basic atomic structure and periodic trends to advanced students preparing for exams, competitive tests, and university-level studies. Each lesson is carefully tailored to individual learning needs, academic goals, and pace of understanding.
Students explore key areas such as atomic structure, periodic table trends, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, acids and bases, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, and organic chemistry. Complex topics are broken down using step-by-step explanations, balanced equations, numerical examples, and real-life applications to ensure deep conceptual understanding rather than memorization.
I also focus strongly on problem-solving skills, numerical practice, and exam strategies. Students are trained to interpret questions accurately, apply formulas correctly, manage time effectively, and develop confidence in solving both theoretical and numerical chemistry problems with accuracy and clarity.
