About Daniel
----1. Who are you?
Hi, My name is Dan and I'm a lead lecturer at college in the city of Manchester.
----What’s your background?
My main degree is in Games and Entertainment design with 10 years of experience in the world of Animation. Over the past 4 years I have taught online as a STEM and animation teacher in Biology, chemistry, film studies and animation while having a full-time job as an animation lecturer in the heart of Manchester.
I love offering, fun, engaging and out of the box lessons with a humanistic, energetic approach.
---What do you teach?
Subjects include, Biology, Chemistry, computer science, film studies and Animation. At GCSE to A level standard. (Animation being at masters level if needs be)
--Who do you help?
I like to help students who are struggling with fully expanding their knowledge of animation and wish to really hit home when it comes to video production, As the challenge makes it worth it when they get great grades! but I'm equally happy to assist anyone in their learning.
--What types of styles do you do?
I am mostly a cartoonist, offering the likes of what you could see on Cartoon Network such as adventure time and CBBC.
--What softwares do you use?
I mostly stick with Adobe animate/ the adobe suite. however have recently started with ToonBoom Harmony

My techniques and teaching methods offer a range of skills, normally through presentations, discussions, quizzes, videos and diagrams and practical workshop sessions. Using college level studies from UAL to achieve the best results possible.
The typical Length of a lesson is anywhere from 45mins to 1hr 30. with a 5/10 min break in between for longer lessons.
My qualifications stem back to online content creation where I decided to gain a degree in Entertainment design. Since then I have gained a large following on social media, achieved a teaching qualification and am now the lead lecturer of an animation course here in Manchester.
My lessons are for students of all ages that want to experience what it's like to work on their own cartoons or for those who are currently studying at college/Uni level and wish to push their grades further.
