About Vera
I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. I have a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University and a Masters degree from the University of Southern California. I have taught Spanish and French in private institutions, public schools and as a private tutor.

I am flexible in my approach. I believe that each person learns through different methods, depending on their age, needs and skills. After 30 years, I have been able to work with different people, and adjust my teachings to their individual needs . For example some individuals have more difficulty with speaking than writing, with vocabulary than grammar and so on. I strongly think that flexibility, consistency and passion are key elements for mastering a language!
