I have 2 years experience in tutoring KS1 & KS2 English. This involves designing captivating lessons adhering to the UK national curriculum. My lessons are 1 hours long to ensure effective learning and a thorough consolidation of the subject matter. I like to commence each hour with a 10 minute 'starter' task, reinforcing prior learning. I devote the next 40 minutes to new curriculum-aligned topics, promoting understanding through application, such as worksheets and writing tasks. Finally, I allocate the last 10 minutes to homework to gauge comprehension.
