About Letha
"Teaching songwriting requires patience and a sharp ear for the small details that make a track resonate. I earned my Diploma in Contemporary Music at Ara Institute to sharpen my own creative process.
After 10 years in this field, I have seen many aspiring artists struggle with the blank page. My goal is to make the process of writing songs a consistent part of your creative output.
You might find that melody writing or rhyme schemes feel like a chore initially. I help you navigate these hurdles so you can focus on the story you want to tell.
Prosody is a major part of our work, matching words to melody until they feel inseparable. We discuss point of view and perspective to ensure your lyrics carry the intended weight. Collaboration and co-writing also come into play as you share your ideas.
My approach remains focused and craft-first, ensuring we keep the momentum going. I value the quiet moments of discovery when a lyric finally clicks. You can expect a process that prioritizes your authentic voice above all else."
