About Mathope
Hello! I am 'Mathope Ntoi, a Microbiologist with a Master's degree in Microbiology from the University of the Free State. My academic background includes research in molecular biology, microbiology, and host-pathogen interactions, with hands-on experience in advanced laboratory techniques such as microscopy (SEM/TEM), ELISA, fermentation analysis, and metabolite profiling.
I have also worked as an A_STEP Tutor at the University of the Free State, where I supported undergraduate students through guided tutorials, laboratory demonstrations, and academic mentoring. My experience includes helping students understand complex biological concepts and linking theoretical knowledge with practical laboratory applications.
