I met Anni in a language school. I was able to review some of her lessons and see that her dedication as a student transferred to her dedication as a teacher.

I've tried a few Chinese teachers before, but Anni's classes feel much more organized and effective.

One thing I really appreciate is that she remembers what I struggled with in previous lessons and helps me practice those areas again later. It makes me feel like there's a real learning plan behind each class.

She creates a relaxed atmosphere, so I never feel nervous about making mistakes. Our conversations are always interesting because she adapts the lessons to topics I actually enjoy discussing.

I am one of Anni’s students from her online group course, and this has been my experience with her lessons:
1. The classes are very well organized. Each lesson builds on the previous one, making everything easy to follow.
2. Every class introduces new vocabulary and grammar concepts, along with example sentences showing how to use them naturally.
3. Anni provides plenty of examples and practice opportunities to help students apply what they learn in real situations.
4. Classes are held every week, and homework is assigned regularly. She checks the homework carefully and gives feedback in a timely manner.
5. Anni explains Chinese grammar very clearly and always gives enough examples to help students understand and use it in conversation.
6. She also teaches colloquial expressions and explains how Chinese people naturally speak in different situations.

Anni is very kind, patient, and fun. In every lesson, I have plenty of opportunities to speak, and she always gives very useful feedback to help me improve. Her teaching style is very supportive and human-centered, which makes me feel comfortable making mistakes without fear of being judged. Through our lessons, I’ve become much more confident speaking Chinese, and little by little, I’ve also become more fluent. I’m very happy to have found a teacher who truly understands my needs and has also helped me become more patient and confident in my learning journey.

Anni is an excellent Chinese teacher. I’ve been learning with her for about two years, and she has made a significant impact on my progress. Anni’s Chinese lessons are really well thought out and carefully crafted so that you gain a good understanding of the language and its grammatical structures within the context of useful everyday language and phrases. She has taken care to ensure that her slides communicate both the overall meaning and the literal translation of sentences so that you can really get into the mindset of a native speaker as you learn. I have found that this approach has helped me to build a deeper understanding and I find it more interesting and engaging than memorisation and spaced repetition techniques I have tried in the past, which helps to keep me motivated to continue. I have also found it easier to recall information and reproduce the language when it comes to practicing my speaking. I really like the way that Anni has built up knowledge of certain vocabulary and structures so that you feel like you are making fast progress in being able to express yourself. I also like the way that she challenges you to use the new knowledge straight away so that you are actively participating rather than just passively receiving. I think her style of teaching really stimulates my brain to understand and retain the new information without feeling overloaded. I would thoroughly recommend Anni’s excellent course to anyone looking to learn Mandarin, whether you are someone looking to rapidly acquire the language for business use, or a more casual learner.
