About Lily
"Thinking back to when I started, I was just a self-taught enthusiast trying to solve problems in my own way. Since then, I earned my degree and spent 13 years shipping production code across various sectors.
My perspective on math comes from using it in real-world engineering environments, which often feels quite different from what students see in textbooks. This transition from industry to tutoring allows me to show kids and exam students exactly why these formulas exist. I enjoy breaking down linear algebra or calculus into manageable pieces for advanced learners. It is a logical shift from the software world."
