About Mirta
Mixing vocals and DAW fundamentals define the technical foundation I provide for adult learners, teens, and complete beginners. Most people assume that complex software is the main barrier to making great music. Truthfully, the struggle is usually just a lack of organized workflow.
I spent 4 years refining these methods to keep things straightforward for students. Working musicians often tell me they appreciate the focus on bus processing and automation. My background from the USC Thornton School of Music informs how I view arrangement and song structure. Tempo and groove are vital, yet they are often overlooked in early production stages.
I also help hobbyists master stem and session prep to keep projects clean. Teaching 357 students has shown me that simplicity wins every time. Discussing the creative process is honestly the most enjoyable part of my day.

You will start our very first session by opening a DAW and creating an actual beat. It is a bit intimidating to face a blank timeline for the first time.
I guide you through Logic Pro, Ableton, or FL Studio until the interface feels invisible. We prioritize practical outcomes so you leave with something tangible. This keeps the momentum high for teens and adult learners alike. Just start creating.
My goal is to ensure you feel like a real producer by the end of our time together. I am here to support your creative journey with clear, detail oriented guidance.
