About Lucila
"Many students arrive feeling completely overwhelmed by the periodic table and chemical trends. To be honest, I sometimes suspect that textbooks make these topics sound much harder than they actually are.
My 13 years of teaching experience, combined with my BS Biological Sciences degree, helps me cut through the noise. Having worked with 431 students, I have seen every possible confusion regarding reaction mechanisms and stoichiometry.
Whether we are tackling thermochemistry, numerical problem solving, or chemical bonding, I keep things simple. Lab and practical work help ground the theory in reality. It is really just about finding the right way to think about the chemistry."
