For younger children, I don't recommend more than at least one hour a day for three days a week.
Students usually work better one on one or in small groups of two or three. Each child pays the same rate. My policy is I require a 24-hour cancellation notification and one-half of the tutoring rate. If an emergency arises, we can make arrangements to tutor on an alternative day.
