About Grace
Hi! I’m a Year 13 student who has recently completed my A-levels and received an offer to study Law at Oxford University.
I have always been passionate about learning and enjoy helping others develop confidence in their studies. My academic interests span a range of essay-based subjects, particularly Economics, History, English, and Law, all of which have strengthened my analytical thinking, writing, and problem-solving skills.
Alongside my academic achievements, I have gained valuable experience supporting and teaching others. I have worked as a peer mentor at school, helping fellow students with both their studies and wider school life. I have also taught lessons at my local church, giving me experience communicating ideas clearly and engaging with students in a variety of learning environments. These experiences have helped me develop patience, adaptability, and the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging way.
Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, writing, debating ideas, and engaging with current affairs. I am particularly interested in history, politics, and legal issues, and I enjoy exploring complex questions from different perspectives. I also have a creative side and enjoy singing and music in my spare time.
Having recently been through the A-level and university application process myself, I understand both the challenges students face and the techniques that can help them succeed. My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills, and reaching their full potential.

I am a recent A-Level student offering tuition in Economics, History, and university admissions support.
Having recently completed my A-Levels, I have an up-to-date understanding of the current exam specifications, mark schemes, and exam techniques needed to achieve top grades. My lessons focus on building subject knowledge, improving essay-writing skills, and developing effective revision strategies tailored to each student’s needs.
For Economics and History, I help students strengthen their understanding of key concepts, structure essays, and apply knowledge effectively in exams.
I also plan offer support sessions for university applications, including personal statements, Oxbridge applications, interview preparation, and LNAT guidance.
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and interactive. I aim to create a supportive and productive community where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities. Every lesson will be focused on the student’s goals and the key struggles they communicate to me - whether they are aiming to improve grades, prepare for exams, or strengthen their university application to prestigious universities.
I am dedicated to helping students succeed and sharing the techniques that helped me remain on track for 3 A*s and helped me gain admission to Oxford.
