About Sian
I am a year two primary teacher with 6 years experience in KS1. I have taught in year one for 4 years and I have also worked in KS2 during my time at university. I enjoy helping children to grasp new concepts and find it helpful to work in different ways and will change my teaching style to suit the individual needs of the child I am teaching.

My teaching methods are using practical experiences where possible to put the topic into perspective for the children. I believe it is important to understand what a child knows before starting a topic and then using this knowledge to build upon. I want children to become secure in a topic and be able to work independently and confidently.
