About Cecilia
I am an accomplished musician and music graduate from University of Oxford where I studied with a scholarship. I also held music scholarships at school and at St Mary's Choir, Barnes.
I have been tutoring music (academically, and practically) for 6 years now with huge success. It is something I am deeply passionate about - I am enthusiastic about sharing my love of the subject and encouraging the next generation of musicians.

A typical length of my lessons in 1 hour, but I am happy to do more or less. My lessons are for all ages and levels (up to and including degree level). I am experienced with university and Oxbridge application support, including personal statement support and mock interviews.
I approach my lessons prepared and with enthusiasm. I like to get to know my students and adapt to their way of learning - I believe that encouragement and confidence is half the battle. In terms of teaching, I like to be efficient and target specific gaps in knowledge/skill using targeted lesson plans. This includes using past papers or specific exercises. I hope to enable my students with ride-ranging and applicable skills that will give them the confidence to approach their subject in whatever from it takes.
