About Mimi
I’m a Year 11 GCSE Grammar School student that resides in Greater London. I attended a private school for my primary education and achieved a maths scholarship for it’s secondary school. I’ve been receiving tutoring for over six years and I have predicted grades of 7 and over for my GCSEs (8 in maths)

My teaching method is essentially to teach the content throughly first then attempt practice questions that increase in their level of difficulty. Word problems are very effective and will be used if applicable. If stuck I would first encourage an educational guess with logical reasoning before I assist them. Once the topic is learnt it will be tested again in 2/4 weeks to see how much is retained in order for the level of retention to increase (spaces repetition). I base my classes on what knowledge is recommended by reliable 11 plus textbooks (eg CGP) and what I can recall coming up.
