About Daniele
I am Daniele, a professional saxophonist and tenured music teacher with an elite international background and years of experience in public and private education. I combine the rigor and excellence of the Italian Conservatory tradition with the artistic openness of Europe's most prestigious institutions.
I firmly believe that teaching is a dialogue: my goal is not to shape clones, but to help each student develop their own musical identity, providing them with rock-solid technical foundations to become independent, confident, and passionate about their sound. I currently continue teaching also to finance my next great milestone: a Ph.D. in the United States, further global experience that I will directly pass on to my students.
My Journey in Brief:
Master's Degree in Saxophone (110 and Honors / Cum Laude) from the "Niccolò Piccinni" Conservatory.
Specialization Diploma in Chamber Music (110 and Honors / Cum Laude), focused on the deep care of ensemble sound and acoustic interaction.
Master's in Classical and Contemporary Performance in Barcelona (Fundació Conservatori del Liceu), in contact with world-renowned soloists and educators.
Experience in Public Schools: Four years of service as a tenured state teacher, with cross-functional experience ranging from teaching the Saxophone and Music Education to serving in Special Education/Support. This combination has been fundamental in developing an inclusive, flexible pedagogy tailored to any need (including learning disabilities and specific learning disorders like DSA).

My approach is based on a fundamental principle: technique is merely the tool to unleash your expressiveness. I do not believe in rigid, one-size-fits-all methods. Every lesson is shaped in real time around you, your pace, and your musical tastes.
Lessons are open to all levels and ages: from absolute beginners starting from scratch to advanced musicians preparing for Conservatory exams, competitions, or auditions.
Typical Lesson Structure (60 minutes)
To keep attention high and optimize time, we divide the session into three key parts:
Warm-up and Body Awareness (10–15 min): Diaphragmatic breathing, air emission, and flexibility to find the perfect mouthpiece balance and avoid muscle tension.
Technical Development and Mechanism (20 min): Articulation (staccato/legato), reading, and scales, always aimed at solving practical passages in the pieces.
Repertoire Application (25 min): Time for the music! We focus on interpretation and phrasing using pieces chosen together (ranging from classical and contemporary to pop transcriptions or famous melodies).
Materials and Digital Setup (For online lessons)
Scores and Methods Included: You will have access to my digital library. You will receive studies and sheet music conveniently in PDF format, with no obligation to buy books.
High-Fidelity Audio: I use Zoom with advanced musician audio settings. You will hear the instrument in high definition, allowing me to correct intonation without the audio cuts typical of standard video calls.
Progress Tracking: At the end of the lesson, you will have clear and targeted weekly goals, so you always know exactly what and how to practice at home.
