About Dori
I am a graduate in cognitive science at Yale University, in the United States. I studied there for three years, so I have extensive knowledge of oral and written English, both formal and informal. Before I went to the United States in August 2016, I got a B in the CAE (Certificate in Advanced English). In my last two years of high school, I taught English to students aged 10 to 25 years old. During my time at Yale, I was a Spanish tutor for Yale students, so I continued to gain experience teaching.

My teaching method depends on the age and level of the student, and I always consider their opinion, since they know what works best for them. I usually focus on whatever is on the syllabus on a given week, explaining the concepts first and doing practice exercises afterwards. I'd rather have the whole class in English, but if the student's age and / or level do not allow it, I explain the concepts in Spanish and at the end of the class we spend 10-15 minutes practicing oral conversation skills.
